AI Record Brief for Sales.
AI Record Brief for Sales adds the brief to sales orders and quotations. Seven ordered checks over the order's own dates, delivery state and invoice state decide the status, so an expired quotation, a delivered order that was never billed and an order that quietly stopped are each called what they are. Your AI provider writes the wording, never the status. It is a free add-on and is not a standalone product: it requires the AI Record Brief core module, which holds the provider settings, the security group and the generation engine.

What it does
AI Record Brief for Sales adds the AI Record Brief to sales orders and quotations. The brief is a status badge, a summary of three to five lines, the risks the order is carrying and the single next action somebody should take.
The checks are the ones a sales manager would make by hand: has the quotation outlived its validity date, has a confirmed order sat unshipped, has a delivered order never been invoiced, is it flagged for upselling. Delivery state is read only when Inventory is installed alongside Sales, so the module works on a Sales-only database without failing. The status is decided by those checks, not by the language model, which is asked only for the wording.

How do I find the Odoo quotations that have gone stale?
Open the quotation and read the AI Brief block. A quotation whose validity date has passed and that is still unconfirmed reads At Risk, with the reason written out and a recommended next action.
How do I see which delivered orders were never invoiced?
A confirmed order that is delivered, or that has nothing to deliver, and is still to invoice reads Attention. The brief says the collection cycle has not started, so the order surfaces before month end rather than after it.
Does it work without the Inventory app?
Yes. Delivery state is soft-detected on the sales order model rather than declared as a dependency, so on a Sales-only database the delivery checks are skipped and the rest of the rule table still applies.
Can the AI mark a cancelled order as still active?
No. Cancelled and fully settled orders resolve to Closed from the order's own state, and in that case the provider's hint is discarded rather than applied.
Do I need to install anything else?
Yes, and this module is free precisely because it is an add-on rather than a product on its own. It cannot work without the AI Record Brief core module, which holds the provider settings, the security group and the generation engine. Install that and this bridge installs itself once Sales is present.
Which Odoo version and editions does it support?
This release is built for Odoo 19 and runs on both Community and Enterprise. There is no Odoo 18 or Odoo 17 build. The Odoo Apps Store listing always shows the exact version a build supports.
