What does Odoo's own upgrade service not cover?

Odoo's upgrade service, included with an Enterprise subscription, converts standard apps and Studio customizations. It does not cover custom or third-party modules without a maintenance contract, data cleanup, or training. Those are what an upgrade partner is for, and usually most of the work.

How much does an Odoo upgrade cost?

Typically $750 to $1,800 for a near-standard database moving one version, $3,000 to $12,000 with 5 to 15 custom modules, and from $12,000 for heavily customised systems crossing several versions. We start with a fixed-price upgrade audit, $150 to $300, deducted from the project if you go ahead, and then quote a fixed price.

Can you migrate two Odoo versions in one project?

Yes. We plan it as one project with one go-live, while the custom modules are ported and tested through each version's changes underneath. We moved a Saudi group from Odoo 16 to 18 that way, changing hosting platform at the same time.

How long does an Odoo upgrade take, and will we have downtime?

Most of the work happens on a staging copy with no impact on your live system. The only downtime is a short, planned cutover window that we schedule with you and keep as short as possible.

Which Odoo versions can you migrate from and to?

We migrate across the current major Odoo releases and step through older versions where needed. We are Odoo certified and port both your data and your custom modules to the target version.

Is it safe to upgrade our live Odoo?

Yes, because we never upgrade in place blind. We migrate and test on a staging copy first and only cut over once results are validated.

What happens to our custom modules during a migration?

We port them to the target version and test them, so the features you rely on keep working after the move.

Will our data stay intact?

We migrate with integrity checks against the source and validate key records and reports before go-live.
