Legal
Terms and conditions.
The terms that apply when you work with us or use our apps, in plain language. Last updated 21 June 2026.
About these terms
These terms apply when you engage CODEerts for services, use this website, or install one of our published Odoo apps. CODEerts is a team of certified Odoo experts and full-stack software engineers based in Pakistan, serving clients globally. By working with us or using our apps, you agree to the terms below.
Our services
We provide Odoo ERP implementation, customization, migration and support, plus AI, web, mobile, UI/UX and quality assurance engineering. The exact scope of any engagement is defined in the proposal or statement of work we agree with you before starting.
Quotes and proposals
We scope and quote work before it begins. A quote describes the deliverables, timeline and price for that engagement. Work outside the agreed scope is handled as a separate change, quoted and approved before we proceed, so there are no surprises.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in your proposal or invoice. Fixed-scope projects are billed by milestone, retainers and support plans are billed on a recurring cycle, and dedicated team engagements are billed per person. Invoices are due by the date shown on each invoice.
Intellectual property
For custom work, ownership of the delivered code transfers to you once the related invoice is paid in full, unless your agreement states otherwise. We retain the right to reuse general know-how, techniques and non-client-specific components. Our published Odoo apps remain the property of CODEerts and are licensed to you under the license shown on each app listing.
Published Odoo apps
Our apps are distributed through the Odoo Store under the CODEerts publisher, each under its own license, whether free or paid. Purchase, billing and refunds for those apps follow the Odoo Store terms at the point of purchase. We provide support for our apps by email, and we maintain them across the Odoo versions stated on each listing.
Support and warranties
We deliver our work with reasonable skill and care, and we stand behind it. Custom projects include the warranty window described in your agreement, and ongoing support is available under a retainer or annual maintenance plan. We do not warrant that software will be completely error free or uninterrupted, which is normal for all software.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, arising from the use of our services or apps.
Confidentiality
We treat the business information you share with us as confidential and use it only to deliver your project. We are happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement where you need one.
Third-party software
Odoo and any other third-party platforms remain governed by their own licenses and terms. Nothing in these terms changes your obligations to those third parties, and we are not responsible for changes they make to their own software or pricing.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, and the date above shows when it was last changed. Your specific engagement is governed by the agreement you signed with us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any specific engagement may name a different governing law in its own agreement, in which case that agreement takes precedence for that engagement.
