Insurance Management Pro Provider Adapters.
Insurance Management Pro Provider Adapters gives the suite its outbound integration surface: carrier and vehicle lookup APIs, called through a configured provider record. Credentials are gated to the configuration administrator, so an ordinary broker cannot read them, and they are never placed in a query string, a log line or a stored request body. Tokens are held per provider rather than per process. It is a free add-on and is not a standalone product: it requires Insurance Management Pro, and it is separate precisely because an outbound HTTP surface holding carrier credentials does not belong in every install.

What it does
Insurance Management Pro Provider Adapters is the suite's outbound integration surface. A provider record holds an endpoint, an authentication type and its credentials, and the integration calls out through that record for carrier services and vehicle lookups.
Most of the design is about the credentials rather than the calls. They are gated to the configuration administrator, so an ordinary broker holding read access on provider records cannot retrieve them. They are never placed in a query string. Sensitive headers are stripped before anything is logged or stored against a request record. The integration reads them through a narrow elevation scoped to that one read, rather than through whatever rights the calling user happens to have.
Who it's for
Brokers who pull data from a carrier service or a vehicle lookup rather than rekeying it. If every quote and every vehicle detail reaches you by email or portal, you do not need this, and leaving it out means your database never stores an external credential at all.

Who can see the stored API credentials?
Only the Insurance Configuration Administrator group. The password and API key fields are gated to that group, so an ordinary insurance user with read access to provider records cannot retrieve them, including through a search read over the API.
Are credentials ever written to logs?
No. Authorization, proxy authorization, API key, auth token and cookie headers are stripped before any request is logged or stored, and credentials are never placed in a URL.
Which carriers does it integrate with out of the box?
It ships the adapter framework and the provider configuration, not a directory of named carrier integrations. Each provider is configured with its own endpoint and authentication, and the module claims no carrier integration it does not actually implement.
Why is this not part of the core module?
Because it is an outbound HTTP surface that stores credentials. A broker who never calls an external API should not have that code or those records in their database at all.
