What it does
Attendance Dashboard puts workforce presence on the first screen of the Attendances app. Hours worked, attendance count, distinct employees, average hours, who is checked in right now and month to date hours sit across the top as clickable KPI tiles.
Nine interactive charts and a heatmap show hours over time, hours by employee and department, attendances by employee, check in and check out patterns by hour and hours by weekday. Pick any date range and every chart updates together.
Reading presence, not just recording it
Who is checked in right now is the only figure here that answers a question in the present tense, and it is the one supervisors open the page for. Everything else is pattern: hours by employee shows who is consistently over or under, and attendances by weekday exposes the Monday and Friday shape most teams have but few have measured.
Average hours matters more than total hours. Total tells you the size of the workforce. Average tells you whether the shift pattern you designed is the one people are actually working.
Who it's for
Shift supervisors and HR teams running attendance in Odoo, particularly anywhere with hourly staff, multiple shifts or a physical site where knowing who is present right now has a safety or staffing consequence. If you are exporting attendance to a spreadsheet each week to spot who is short on hours, this puts that on the app's first screen instead.

Can I see attendance patterns by hour in Odoo?
Yes. The dashboard includes check in and check out charts by hour and a weekday by hour heatmap so you can see attendance patterns at a glance.
Can managers see attendance for only their own team in Odoo?
Yes. Every KPI and chart is read as the logged in user, so your existing employee and department access rules apply. A team lead sees hours and check ins for the people they can access, while HR admins see the whole company.
Does the attendance dashboard change any check in or check out records?
No. It is a read only view built on your existing attendance records. Hours worked, who is checked in now and the weekday by hour heatmap are all queried live, so it reports on your data without editing a single check in or check out.
Can I run the Odoo Attendances dashboard on Community, or does it need Enterprise?
It works on both. Odoo's Attendances app ships in Community, so the dashboard runs on a standard Community install with no Enterprise subscription. It is maintained for the current major Odoo versions; use the version selector on this page to pick your release.
Can I see who is checked in right now?
Yes, and it is the tile most supervisors open the page for. It is the only figure here that answers a question in the present tense. Everything else on the page is pattern over a period.
