Insurance Management Pro Customer Portal.
Insurance Management Pro Customer Portal puts the client's own policies in front of them through Odoo's portal. They see their terms, their documents and what is still outstanding, and they can upload the documents you asked for. Access is read only apart from that upload, and record isolation is enforced on the server rather than by hiding a link. It is a free add-on and is not a standalone product: it requires Insurance Management Pro. Not every broker gives clients a login, which is why it is optional.

What it does
Insurance Management Pro Customer Portal puts the client's own policies in front of them through Odoo's existing portal, so there is no second system for them to log into. They see their policy terms, the documents held against them, and which document requirements are still outstanding.
The upload control is the only thing a portal user can write, and it is deliberately narrow: the document has to be one you requested, and file type, size and request rate are all enforced before anything is stored.
Who it's for
Brokers who want to stop emailing policy schedules and chasing proposal forms by phone. If your client relationships are entirely handled by your account managers and nobody wants a login, the core module works perfectly well without this.

Can one client see another client's policies?
No. Isolation is enforced by record rules on the server, not by hiding a link, and it is covered by tests that request another customer's record directly and assert it is refused.
What can a portal user change?
Only uploading a document you have requested. Every other portal access grant in the module is read only.
Do clients need an Odoo user licence?
No. They are portal users, which Odoo does not charge a user licence for.
Can clients see their claims too?
Yes, if you also install the Claims add-on. The bridge that puts claims in the portal installs itself automatically when both are present.
