What it does

Inventory Dashboard puts your whole warehouse on the first screen of the Inventory app. On-hand units, distinct products in stock, deliveries and receipts due, late transfers and backorders sit across the top as clickable KPI tiles.

Nine interactive charts show completed transfers over time, transfers by type and state, on-hand stock by location and product, the most moved products and deliveries by customer. Pick any date range and every chart updates together.

Late transfers and backorders, first

On-hand units is the number people expect on an inventory dashboard and the least actionable one on this page. Late transfers and backorders are the two that cost money today: a late transfer is a promise already broken, and a backorder is stock a customer is waiting on. Both are counts you can work down.

Deliveries and receipts due tells you what the next few days look like, and transfers by state shows where the work is piling up. Completed transfers over time is the throughput line that tells you whether the warehouse is keeping pace or slowly falling behind.

Who it's for

Warehouse and inventory managers, plus the customer service people who get asked where an order is. It suits any operation running multiple transfer types where a delay in one stage is not visible from the others. If your morning routine is opening three filtered list views to see what is late, this is that routine on one screen.

Questions

About Inventory Dashboard.

How do I see on-hand stock and pending transfers on one screen in Odoo?

Install Inventory Dashboard. It adds a Dashboard as the first item in the Inventory app with live KPIs for on-hand units, deliveries and receipts due, late transfers and backorders, plus nine charts for movements and stock by location and product.

Where does the Odoo inventory dashboard get its numbers and are they real time?

It reads directly from your stock transfers and on-hand quantities live. There is no separate report table to refresh, so on-hand units, deliveries and receipts due and late transfers always match your warehouse. Choosing a date range re-queries every chart together.

Which Odoo app is the inventory dashboard in and how do I open it?

After install it sits as the first Dashboard item inside the Inventory app, so your warehouse team lands on it the moment they open Inventory. There is no separate app or menu to hunt for, and you can filter it by any date range from the top of the screen.

Can I run the Odoo Inventory dashboard on Community, or does it need Enterprise?

It works on both. Odoo's Inventory app ships in Community, so the dashboard runs on a standard Community install with no Enterprise subscription. It is maintained for the current major Odoo versions; use the version selector on this page to pick your release.

Which figures here are actually actionable?

Late transfers and backorders. On-hand units is the number people expect on an inventory dashboard and the least actionable one on it. A late transfer is a promise already broken and a backorder is a customer waiting, and both are counts you can work down today.
