Payroll Dashboard gives HR and finance a live view inside the Payroll app. Net pay, basic pay, payslip count, average net, payslips to validate and paid net sit across the top as clickable KPI tiles. Eight interactive charts show net pay over time, pay by salary structure and department, top earners, payslips by state and a paid rate gauge. Every figure is read as the logged in user, so access rights always apply.

What it does
Payroll Dashboard gives HR and finance a live view inside the Payroll app. Net pay, basic pay, payslip count, average net, payslips to validate and paid net sit across the top as clickable KPI tiles.
Eight interactive charts show net pay over time, pay by salary structure and department, top earners, payslips by state and a paid rate gauge. Every figure is read as the logged in user, so access rights always apply.
Net, basic and the ones still to validate
Payslips to validate is the operational tile: an unvalidated payslip close to a pay run is a problem with a deadline attached. The rest of the page is about understanding the cost. Net against basic exposes how much of your payroll is variable, which is the number that determines how predictable the next few months are.
Net pay by salary structure is where a growing company finds out that one structure has quietly become the majority of its cost base. Average net gives you a per-head figure that survives headcount changes, which total net does not.
Who it's for
HR and finance running Payroll in Odoo, and specifically the person responsible for getting the pay run out on time. It suits companies with more than one salary structure, where the aggregate figure hides the composition. If validating payslips currently means working through a list view looking for what is not done, the to-validate tile is the fix.

How do I see net pay and payslips on one screen in Odoo Payroll?
Install Payroll Dashboard. It adds an Analytics dashboard in the Payroll app with live KPIs for net and basic pay, payslip counts and paid net, plus eight charts for structures, departments and top earners.
Is payroll data on the dashboard protected by Odoo access rights?
Yes. Every figure is read as the logged in user, so your normal Payroll access rules apply. Only users allowed to see payslips can see net pay, salary structures and top earners, which keeps sensitive pay data restricted.
Does the Odoo payroll dashboard show pay in my company currency?
Yes. Net pay, basic pay and average net appear in your company currency with thousands separators, so the figures are easy to read. A paid rate gauge and a payslips by state chart also track payslips through to paid.
Can I run the Odoo Payroll dashboard on Community, or does it need Enterprise?
You need Enterprise. Odoo's Payroll app is an Enterprise app and is not part of Community, so this dashboard has nothing to read from on a Community install. If you are on Community and evaluating, that is the blocker to solve first, not this module.
Why does net pay against basic pay matter more than the total?
The gap between them is how much of your payroll is variable, which is what decides how predictable the next few months are. A payroll that is almost all basic behaves very differently from one carrying large commission or overtime.

Payslips to validate. An unvalidated payslip close to a pay run is a problem with a deadline attached, and it is far cheaper to spot on a tile than by working through a list view looking for what is not done.
