What it does
Rental Dashboard gives rental teams the full picture on the first screen of the Rental app. Rental revenue, order count, average rental value, orders to pick up, to return and returned sit across the top as clickable KPI tiles.

To pick up, to return, returned
Rental is a logistics business wearing a sales business's clothes, and these three tiles are the logistics. To pick up is revenue that has not started. To return is equipment you cannot re-rent until it comes back. Returned is the count that closes the loop. Read together they tell you how much of your fleet is actually earning.
Rental revenue over time and average rental value describe the commercial side, and top customers matters more here than in most sales contexts because rental businesses tend to be far more concentrated than their owners expect.

Rental operations running Odoo Rental, from equipment hire to venue and vehicle rental. How do I track rental revenue, pickups and returns on one screen in Odoo?
Install Rental Dashboard. It adds a Dashboard as the first item in the Rental app with live KPIs for rental revenue, orders, pickups and returns due, plus eight charts by status, customer and salesperson.
Is the Odoo rental dashboard based on live data?
Yes. Every KPI and chart reads your real rental orders live when you open the dashboard or change the date range, so pickups, returns and rental revenue always match the records. Nothing is cached or scheduled behind the scenes.
Can I see rental performance alongside my other apps in Odoo?
The dashboard installs the free Company Overview module automatically, giving you a single cross-app executive view. Rental revenue and order volume sit next to your other departments for a company-wide picture.
Can I run the Odoo Rental dashboard on Community, or does it need Enterprise?
You need Enterprise. Odoo's Rental app is an Enterprise app and is not part of Community, so this dashboard has nothing to read from on a Community install. If you are on Community and evaluating, that is the blocker to solve first, not this module.
Which figures tell me how much of my fleet is earning?
To pick up, to return and returned, read together. To pick up is revenue that has not started, to return is equipment you cannot re-rent until it is back, and returned closes the loop. Rental is a logistics business wearing a sales business's clothes.
